Leah Dorsett | UX Researcher

I've spent the past 7 years working on product teams, growing into a strategic and collaborative UX Researcher. My experience at startups, scale ups and publicly-traded corporations has taught me how to strike a balance between rigor and agility.

  • I’ve led generative and evaluative research that directly impacted user engagement (+21%) and customer conversion (+4%).

  • I've helped PMs, designers, and leadership teams prioritize high-impact work through generative research, shaping both short- and long-term roadmaps.

  • I’ve even delivered insights that articulated product vision at the board level.

Before becoming a UX Researcher, I was a QA Analyst, Customer Marketing Specialist, and UX Designer. These roles have been influential in my success as a UX Researcher. QA taught me how to dissect complex experiences, anticipate user behavior and how even the smallest detail can have an impact on the quality of a product. Marketing honed my ability to be intentional in my communication. UX Design unlocked a new level of creativity, heavily informed by my research.

Research fuels my conviction and collaboration. I’m comfortable working closely with design, product, engineering and other researchers because of my diverse career background.

Outside of work, you can find me on the sand or indoor volleyball courts in Missoula or walking around the Rattlesnake with my dog, Scout.
